Goal
During VM maintenance, Liveness/Readiness probes may report unhealthy which will cause the VM to restart automatically. We need a way to prevent this behavior in such cases. This epic tracks the investigation if and how the desired behavior could be implemented in kubevirt.
The goal of this specific epic is to enable us to have the functionality available in CNV 4.23 .
User Stories
- As a VM owner, I like to ignore Liveness/Readiness probes temporarily, so that I can do maintenance inside the VM without taking the probes any actions.
Non-Requirements
- List of things not included in this epic, to alleviate any doubt raised during the grooming process.
