In many cases a namespace is shared with multiple users to run VMs.

Adding the Owner to a VM when creating it can be very powerful.
Admin can later use this field and be able to clearly identify who the VM belongs to.

I think we should have an email reference as well, so that the Admin can do operation like automatically send and email to VM owners if the VM requires some kind of power operation/deletion notice/upgrade required/notify about a firing alert etc.

Once this is done it could make sense to add this information to the VM info metric and display it in the dashboards/reports.
