    • Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management for Kubernetes

      Goal

Cross-cluster live VM migration is generally available. This feature may not be supported in every configuration and will require compatible infrastructure to work properly. All requirements for support must be documented.

      User Stories

      • As a VM owner I want to migrate my production VM workload from one cluster to another without downtime.

      Non-Requirements

      User Experience Considerations

It's likely that much of the UX needs were captured via related ACM feature VIRTSTRAT-54. ACM is working on adding live cross-cluster vm migrations to their workflows and there is already some design work underway there.

The UI for this is currently in MTV and is complete enough for our anticipated Tech Preview in OCP 4.20. Once we get some customer feedback we may have an idea of what might be needed. For now, leaving off the UXD component.
