Goal
This epic aims to fully graduate support for the deployment of common-instancetypes by virt-operator, originally introduced during v4.16 via https://issues.redhat.com/browse/CNV-26638 and remove support from SSP operator entirely.
User Stories
- As a developer I want the feature-gate controlling common-instancetypes deployment to be graduated to GA and no longer required
- As a developer I want to remove all support for deploying common-instancetypes via SSP operator
- As a cluster admin I want the deployment of common-instancetypes to be enabled by default but to also be configurable within my environment
Non-Requirements
- Support for deployment of common-instancetypes from a custom URL is not included as part of this epic
