Goal
Windows 10 should boot from UEFI with TPM instead of BIOS, because:
- UEFI and TPM enables additional functionalities in Windows.
- Booting Windows with UEFI and TPM is already supported in OpenShift Virtualization.
- Windows 2k22 and Windows 11 are already using UEFI with TPM, this way Windows 10 would be aligned to them.
User Stories
- As a Windows VM user, I would like to have a VM booted using UEFI and TPM, so that I can use Bitlocker.
Notes
- How do we want to handle the flow of existing Windows images, which will not boot anymore?
