Goal
Move the Instancetype API to `v1beta1` to promote the stability of the API to end users.
User Stories
- As a developer, I want to promote the stability of the API in order to have more users interacting with the API downstream.
- As a user, I want to the API to be stable with no backwardly incompatible changes introduced.
