      As a developer I want to rebase downstream operator-sdk to latest upstream version (1.35.0), apply the required downstream patches, update the release and CI configurations accordingly.

       

      Acceptance criteria

      1. Successful image build with Makefile.
      2. Successful execution of applicable E2E and unit testcases.
      3. Successful CI execution.
