AppSvc Sprint 205
Story (Required)
As a user I would like to get instruction on how to setup my environment quickly and see service binding operator in action, without going into too much details initially.
Background (Required)
Current documentation doesn't have a quick start.
Out of scope
- how to provision a k8s cluster
In Scope
- Cover SBO installation both on openshift and plain k8s
- Cover quick-start with a Service Binding for a database and a web application_
Approach(Required)
- list prerequisites
- point out where possible to OperatorHub and Openshift doc on how to install SBO
- prepare one-liners containing `kubectl apply -f https:/....` that can be easily copied to a shell and
- install database
- install web applications, show that the application does not work yet
- create service binding, show that the application works now
Also:
- possibly discuss the advantage of using service binding vs. deploying apps without it
Acceptance Criteria
A section in the userguide addressing the topic in "Approach" part.
