Goal
In this issue we would like to show the value of the Service Binding to an application developer. We want to show how it helps him and keeps him away from infrastructure complexity.
We would use that as a real life scenario that we can use for demo purposes, but also as a blog post and inside of different resources that will allow us to enable other teams.
Expected Outcomes
A document that can be published onto our documentation, that is:
- Introducing a sample "real life" demo application.
- How a developer would do to connect his application to a database without using the SBO (we'll focus on upstream Kubernetes for this part)
- How a developer would do the same things but leveraging the SBO
- From kubectl
- From ODO
- From OpenShift Developer Console
Sample Application
Ideally we would like to have one which is using a database.
