Value Statement

For security reasons, ClusterImageSets should use SHA digest references to images. We must ensure provision and upgrade scenarios continue to work in this case for Hive-based and other non-Assiste-Installer scenarios.

Definition of Done for Engineering Story Owner (Checklist)

• ClusterImageSets with by-digest pullspecs work properly for installation and upgrade (version and architecture sourced from labels.releaseTag)
• Parsing the version/architecture from the image tag is still supported for custom ClusterImageSets created by uers

Development Complete

• The code is complete.
• Functionality is working.
• Any required downstream Docker file changes are made.

Tests Automated
