Description of problem:
In a setup where using a child MCE to deploy hcp, the openshiftversion label is not added - it is missing in the hosting MCE.
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):
RHACM 2.14.1
MCE 2.9.1 on all clusters
OCP 4.18.26 on hosting
OCP 4.17.29 being deployed for hcp
How reproducible:
customer environment
Steps to Reproduce:
- enable observability
- deploy HCP onto child MCE with specific versions
- ...
Actual results:
openshiftVersion label is missing on hosting MCE for the hcp cluster, causing issues with the deployment of observability (cluster-monitoring-config not created, cluster being detected as non-ocp)
Expected results:
cluster labeled for detection as OCP
Additional info:
adding the label fixes the detection by observability (the observability CRDs need to be deleted to get new ones created)
this may tie with the versions of OCP, MCE and ACM in use.
