1. Proposed title of this feature request
- Request to incorporate vSphere problem detector health checks into RHACM
2. What is the nature and description of the request?
- Incorporate vSphere problem detector health check to RHACM, allowing customers to deactivate local RHOCP vSphere cluster checks and perform those same from RHACM.
3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)
- In a context where more than 50 RHOCP clusters rely on the same vCenter instance, the current [0] hourly checks of the are bringing significant stress on the vCenter API, even leading to tasks being queued/delayed.
- As a RHOCP-on-vSphere cluster user, the customer sees significant value into being able to perform those checks from a single, centralized RHACM instance that connects to the one (or multiple) vSphere environments they may use for their RHOCP clusters.
4. List any affected packages or components.
5. Additional information
- NOTE: this is a complementary request, raised in the context of a conversation with the same customer that initiated RFE-6457.
