      1. Proposed title of this feature request

      • Request to make the vsphere-problem-detector check interval customizable

      2. What is the nature and description of the request?

      • Expose a vsphere-problem-detector variable for making the default check interval customizable (instead of the currently hard-codded [0] 1-hour).

      3. Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements here)

      • In a context where more than 50 RHOCP clusters rely on the same vCenter instance, the current [0] hourly checks of the are bringing significant stress on the vCenter API, even leading to tasks being queued/delayed.
      • As a RHOCP-on-vSphere cluster user, the customer would need for the vsphere-problem-detector check interval to be customizable to a higher value and, therefore, reduce the overall load of their vCenter instance

      4. List any affected packages or components.
