UXD PoC: abrarenrh
ACS Implementation PoC: bmichael@redhat.com (PM) alroy@redhat.com ? (UX) vwilson@redhat.com ? (Eng)
Goals
- Implement a feedback button persistent on all MCE and ACM UI pages, similar to OCM on console.redhat.com or on ACS
- See attached ACS screenshot
- Please copy design from ACS not console dot
- Implement a launch link for a user to access a feedback form provided by UXD
- Launches to: https://console.redhat.com/self-managed-feedback-form
- Query parameter for source should be changed to "acm", source=acm
- Implement a launch link for a user to submit a support case
Questions to answer
- Is the feedback link in the OpenShift Console in 4.14+ adequate for this use case?
- No, the link is hidden and we want to have a persistent and visible experience to the user to provide feedback.
- No, the link is not specific to ACM and will create triage issues with understanding which product the feedback is related to.
- No, RHACM 2.11 will support 4.13; and will be missing this feature.
- Can we include query params and pass metadata to include the ACM and/or MCE versions?
