BU Priority Overview
Provide a high-level description of what the BU Priority is and the general direction of where it's going.
Customers that purchase our products through the cloud providers or the marketplace should be able to have access to the required tools and be able to provision their clusters with a good user experience.
Goals
State the goals and metrics for success. This should not be a list of related features but instead be the acceptance criteria for considering this BU Priority delivered and any specific metrics needed to demonstrate its impact.
Customers should be able to move from purchase to fulfillment seamlessly with as little friction as possible. This means that customers that purchase a subscription (managed OpenShift or OCM-managed addon) through Red Hat or from a marketplace should be able to provision their cluster or install their addon via self-service and the overall user experience should be intuitive.
There are ongoing improvements to the user experience based on gaps identified through product analytics, various usability studies, and customer feedback. The goal here would be to see improvements in the various metrics that are being tracked around adoption and retention by the growth team and the OCM product team.
State of the Business
Inform the reader of the current state of the business in detail. Include details about the opportunity and impact of delivering against this BU Priority, which may come from the linked 6-pager. Link to other material as appropriate.
Customers have the option to use the web console or the CLI but the user experience results in drop-off at the top of the funnel.
Execution Plans
Lay out the plan for how to execute against the BU Priority to meet the previously stated goals. Optionally include criteria for abandonment.
