Constantly syncing commits between both master and v1.0.x is a bit of a pain and I think it would be better if we just made the main branch v1.0.x instead and got rid of master. Technically, the only real differences between master and v1.0.x when they are synced are the different tags they use (next vs the specific tag of the image built in brew) but we can solve this problem in the Makefile, instead of constantly having to sync the two branches
