      While running an analysis on newer versions of VSCode, I encountered this error .
      The integrated Output window in the IDE shows this:

      Using JAVA_HOME: null
      Increasing the maximum of open files to 10000.
      Using the CLI at /home/nandini/Downloads/mta-6.1.0.GA-cli-offline/mta-cli-6.1.0.GA-redhat-00005
      Error: JAVA_HOME is not defined correctly.
      We cannot execute null/bin/java
      Error executing cli

      Environment
      -----------------------
      1)This issue is seen with the following versions of VSCode:
      1.77.3 (2023-04-12)
      1.76.2 (2023-03)
      2) My testing was done on mta-vscode-extension-6.1.0-531
