As a consequence of the Productization of MTR using the CPaaS infrastructure the build of the container images is done by a separate process and build tool to that which produces the Web UI distribution. At the time of building the Web UI, which includes OpenShift templates, we don't know the details of the container images referenced in those templates. Consequently we have decided to remove the OpenShift templates from the downstream distribution of MTR.

The templates are an antiquated way of installing the MTR application on OpenShift anyway so that is another good reason for removing them from the downstream product and the documentation.

Looking at the support policy for Openshift both 4.6 EUS and 4.7 will be End of life by the time MTA 6.0 and MTR 1.0 are released.

In terms of the changes required to the Web UI Guide

      Change the heading

2.2. Installing the web console on OpenShift Container Platform

2.2. Installing the web console on OpenShift Container Platform (4.6 and later)

Within Section 2.2 remove the following paragraph and sub-heading

You can install the web console on OpenShift Container Platform 4.2-4.5 by importing a template and instantiating it to create the web console application.

2.2.1. Installing the web console on OpenShift Container Platform 4.6 and later

      Remove all of section 2.2.2

Obviously the sections that follow will have to be renumbered.
