    Description

When I tried running an analysis on VSC, the analysis wouldn't start . The VSC UI showed the progression through the following steps before being stuck at 'Launching analysis' indefinitely .

      1)Verifying mta-cli
      2)Executing mta-cli script
      3)Preparing analysis

When I ran the exact same analysis through CLI, I found out that the input directory didn't exist.

      [nachandr@localhost bin]$ ./mta-cli --input /home/nachandr/migration/spring-petclinic1 --sourceMode
      ERROR: input must exist!

This issue can be prevented either by

1)getting mta-cli to propagate this error to the IDE logs

2)or by having IDEs to verify input locations and failing early with an appropriate error message
