      User story

As a WMCO user, I want to perform an EUS-to-EUS upgrade in a cluster with Windows nodes so that the Windows nodes end up in the latest EUS version.

      Description

See https://issues.redhat.com/browse/WINC-1210 for evidence, supporting information and previous discussion on the feature description.

      Required

      • Windows nodes upgrade from EUS-to-EUS corresponding OCP version, that is x.y to x.y+2
      • Windows nodes should not upgrade to the non-EUS minor version, i.e. x.y+1, during EUS-to-EUS upgrade
      • E2E coverage for EUS-to-EUS

      Engineering Details

      See https://issues.redhat.com/browse/WINC-1210

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Documentation added with the steps to support the EUS-to-EUS upgrade for Windows nodes
      • E2E test suite passed with OCP upgrade from x.y to x.y+2

EDIT: There is no need for additional CI coverage, the current e2e upgrade test validates replacing an older version of the operator.
