Having those transitive dependencies in the manifest create un-used entries that are never resolved when provisioning WildFly.

In addition, in the specific case of Prospero feature-pack (that do needs the galleon API artifacts in its manifest), it can create a version mismatch issue as reported in WFLY-21460.
