Update: upon fixing the problem below, discovered a lot more problems, basically all changes that went into subsystem between version 5 to current 9, so it's bit of a rewrite.

The examples mention deprecated "add-protocol" operation or the example stack is quite out of date which might be confusing.

CLI instructions no longer work either, e.g.

[standalone@embedded /] /subsystem=jgroups/stack=mystack:add(transport={}, protocols={})
'transport' is not found among the supported properties: [statistics-enabled]
