The testsuite/preview/basic pom is kind of random in what it does now.

The standard build doesn't provision a complete dist, it provisions different sets of layers. And then runs different subsets of the tests against those layers. But most of those sets are using a fake test I created at the beginning when I created this pom and deliberately created some pom infrastructure to demonstrate how things could be done as more tests were added. But now that infrastructure has been duplicated and really serves no purpose.

And then the bootable jar tests are not actually running any of the real tests.

I suggest

1) In the default build create a full dist provisioning and run all the tests against it.
2) Clean out meaningless example executions as we have real ones.
3) Have the ts.bootable.preview executions actually test things (the same things as #2)
