Reading a bridge with include-runtime throws WFLYCTL0216

XMLWordPrintable

    • Hide

      Create a bridge, then try to read it:

      /subsystem=messaging-activemq/server=default/bridge=test:add(queue-name=test,static-connectors=[http-connector])
      /subsystem=messaging-activemq/server=default/bridge=test:read-resource
      /subsystem=messaging-activemq/server=default/bridge=test:read-resource(include-runtime)

      The the second read operation will fail:

      {
          "outcome" => "failed",
          "rolled-back" => true,
          "failure-description" => "WFLYCTL0216: Management resource '[
          (\"subsystem\" => \"messaging-activemq\"),
          (\"server\" => \"default\"),
          (\"bridge\" => \"test\")
      ]' not found"
      }

      On certain resources running read-resource(include-runtime) will fail even though the plain operation will succeed.

      Discovered while working with messaging in HAL so it might be a messaging issue, haven't dug into it.
