The protostream maven module's tests fail when executed using SE 16+ because the necessary modular.jdk.args that pass in necessary JPMS settings are overridden/set to an empty value.

This is done to allow the java8-test surefire execution from the org.jboss:jboss-parent pom to work, but that can be made to work in a different way.
