module add CLI command provides options for and generates module compatible with JBoss Modules 1.1, using urn:jboss:module:1.1 schema. There are new configuration options/elements available, and current server works with urn:jboss:module:1.9 schema. The new options and schema version should be available in the command so that it could be leveraged by automation.

I bumped into this limitation when I needed to add a module with a provides element useful for loading Bouncy Castle FIPS providers.
