      Feature Overview

An elevator pitch (value statement) that describes the Feature in a clear, concise way.  Complete during New status.

OpenShift Lightspeed is a very powerful utility that can provide a lot of insights on workloads that are running on the cluster. It can also help troubleshooting issues, give recommendations etc.
The idea is to make those actions better integrated into our UI, for example, if the VM has an error, instead of opening Lightseped, load the VM YAML and then ask the question, I would like to click the error and all Lightspeed insights auomatically.

      Goals
Provide high-level goal statement, providing user context and expected user outcome(s) for this Initiative

      • Who benefits from this feature, and how? - All users that have Lightspeed installed and configured will benefit from this. It will streamline the work with Lightspeed by keeping the actions in context
      • What is the difference between today’s current state and a world with this feature? - Currently the user needs to open Lightspeed UI, may need to load the relevant files (YAML, logs etc.) and then ask the question. With the new feature, everything is done in the place that is related to the query

      (Optional) Use Cases

How will the user interact with this feature?
Which users will use this and when will they use it?

      • Include use case diagrams, main success scenarios, alternative flow scenarios.  Initial completion during Refinement status.
      • As a user I would like to get additional information about my VM, like when is was created, how long is it running etc.
      • As a user I would like to use Lightspeed to understand why my VM is failing, but I would like to do it within my VM context
      • As a user I would like to be able to perform search

      User Experience Considerations

Provide information that needs to be considered and planned so that the user experience will meet customer needs. These could include impacts to the UI or other areas of the user experience, as well as user research needs. Please add the 'UXD' component to this JIRA if there are User Experience considerations. Initial completion during Refinement status.

This feature describes pulling Lightspeed information about VMs directly into the CNV UI, so we will need to determine how to convey that information is based on AI and perhaps powered by Lightspeed, along with the considerations of how to present this data in the UI in general.
