VM users regularly need to partially restore information from a VM backup, either a few files or directly. This will give data protection partners the ability to restore single files or a subset of user data, into a VM.

Goals

• Currently, you need to restore an entire VM separately, and retrieve the data from it. This will allow the user find and restore the small set of files needed.
