The images in group1 are basic RHEL, without MicroShift. Those should not change very often, and we could save ~10 minutes from the CI job by caching them instead of building them fresh every time.

Using a private S3 bucket in the same region as the test host would ensure we aren't charged for internet traffic to download the content.
