Current access.log file gets overwritten if the server is restarted

      1. Start the server.
      2. Make a request. File access.log is created, request is logged.
      3. Restart the server.
      4. Make a request. The existing access.log is replaced with the new one - request from step 2 is gone from the log.

    Description

      I expect that after restarting new log messages would be appended to the previously existing access.log. That was the case with JBoss Web.
