      Distributed Tracing performance and scale testing:

      1. Develop a Comprehensive Test Plan: Prepare a detailed test plan for performance and scalability testing of both the Tempo and OpenTelemetry operator. This plan should include the necessary infrastructure, resources, and test scenarios.
      2. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage all stakeholders in the finalization of the test plan. Their input can provide valuable insights and ensure that all aspects are covered.
      3. Manual Test Execution: Initially, execute the test steps manually. This will help in understanding the workflow and identifying any unforeseen issues.
      4. Test Automation: Automate the test scenarios to ensure consistent results and efficient use of resources. This will also allow for easy repetition of the tests in the future.
      5. Test Reporting: Record the results of each test scenario. Visualize the data in a comprehensive test report, making it easier to understand the performance and scalability of the system. Review the report with the stakeholders. 
      6. Release-Specific Testing: Implement a process to conduct these tests for every major release. This will ensure that each version of the software maintains the expected level of performance and scalability.
