In some cases, the batcher policy will run out of storage (lua_shared_dict) and result in metrics not being reported. 

When the storage runs out the following log snippet can be found:

```Reports batching storage ran out of memory. Will lose a report of 1 to metric```

The size of this storage is hard coded and is not configurable resulting in no supported resolution path for customers who hit this restriction.
