      When Oracle is used as an external Database, a user is required to set the following settings.

      ALTER SYSTEM SET max_string_size=extended SCOPE=SPFILE; 
ALTER SYSTEM SET compatible='12.2.0.1' SCOPE=SPFILE;

      Instead of asking user, the settings should be set automatically
