Current behaviour

Backup & restore can be fully manual or partly automated depending which of our 2 guides you follow:

• Manual guide for backup/restore with operators
• Partially automated guide for backup/restore with operator CR
  However, the requirement to take a backup of the database makes it almost impossible (that we are currently aware of) to fully automate this whole procedure.

Expected Behaviour

Backup & restore could be fully automated by relying on PV backups instead of DB backups and thus the MTC supported by OCP might be a potential solution to help us improve this experience.
