A user in developer portal account wants to configure which notifications they receive. This feature is currently not there. At present all developers will receive all messages as shown in Audience -> Messages -> Email Templates.

For an Admin Portal user it's possible as described in the documentation:

We need something similar for developers in Developer Portal.

1. See IMPORTANT note in THREESCALE-8720. The notification preferences should be disabled for all new users created and should also be configurable via API. 3scale admin API users as well as Developer users are getting hit by tens of thousands of emails, mostly, unwanted and useless which is causing both a stress on the system and a large financial cost to deliver all these notifications. Notification email delivery should be managed and configurable equally across all types of users that can exist in a 3scale Tenant.
