Intro

3scale is planning a series of Initiatives to explore technological and experience related improvements. Results from these explorations will be reviewed to be eventually implemented in the next generation of the product. 

Brief description

Develop/steal an opinionated view on how enterprise level API management (many API's, many different users, complex org, many customers, no room for error) should work, what terminology should be used, contrast with key customers, and visualize where opportunities are for improving the developer experience. The more concrete the better.

Overall Goal

Discover how to Improve developer experience by clearly understanding the different scenarios that occur when managing APIs at enterprise scale. Think about API management as code, OAS driven integration, and more general solid ways where all APIs and management layers can live in git repos. What’s the role of UI in this world? Is APIAP the right model to manage 1000 APIs and if so: how do we map it to OAS?
