Currently the version of 3Scale included in RHMI does not verify that an email is actually sent, before showing the "Email successfully sent" message. This ticket is a follow-on from INTLY-5063. amackenz@redhat.com please adjust components as required.

Its probably that the “email success” message only checks rails part and if email is not configured it would still say ‘sent’. Could we say something if mail server hasn't been configured (as, do we know within rails)?
