      Transcript

We’re following up on our June 20 email, and contacting you to remind you that we will be removing the GraphQL endpoint for User Deletion and Suppression on September 10th, 2019.
Our records indicate your organization has recently used the deprecated GraphQL endpiont for User Deletion and Suppression, and will need to migrate to use the REST API.
As a company, Segment is standardizing around a single REST API (Config API) for all workspace provisioning and access. We’ve written a migration guide with examples of calls for both the new and old endpoints to help make upgrading to the new Config API method easier.
There are a number of benefits to using the Config API:
For access management, there is a UI to create and manage authentication tokens under the access management page in workspace settings.
The Config API also supports larger payloads with higher rate limits, so you can submit large batches of users for deletion in a single API call.
And, as always, please contact us at friends@segment.com if you have any questions throughout this process.
