The Prometheus metric threescale_backend_calls in 2.4 extends and includes the metrics reported under backend_response in 2.3. For users migrating from 2.3 to 2.4, this is not obvious and is causing confusion. This should probably be noted in the release notes / migration notes in the 3scale 2.4 docs.
