Fails to register Developer Portal Site with no error message

      1. Open Admin Portal
      2. Go to Settings > Domain Portal
      3. Enter foo.bar.<$THREESCALE_SUPERDOMAIN> to Developer Portal Site field
      4. Click Update Account

      Actual result:

      • The value was not registered
      • No error message

    Description

      When a developer portal domain is foo.bar.<$THREESCALE_SUPERDOMAIN>, Admin portal fails to register it with no error message, The field accepts foo-bar.<$THREESCALE_SUPERDOMAIN> and foo.bar.<something other than $THREESCALE_SUPERDOMAIN>.

      • Is it a system restriction or a bug?
      • If it's a restriction, show a error message.

      Additional info:
      The field does not show any error message for all invalid domain names like A.example.com.
