We recently migrated from the old deprecated sass-rails to the supported dartsass-rails, see https://issues.redhat.com/browse/THREESCALE-9588

However, this gem depends on sass-embedded which requires some native executables (originally in Dart) to be downloaded from internet on installation. This is not suitable for our hermetic build system. Apart from that, the executables are not available for some of the architectures we build 3scale on.
