Because of initial problems (with konflux itself) while using the gitops approach, I moved to creating all the Konflux configuration through the UI. 

Once everything is building and is shippable, we need to go back and export the custom resources and store them in https://gitlab.cee.redhat.com/releng/konflux-release-data , so that it's clearer what we have in the cluster and it can be audited, version-controlled, etc. etc.
