Description

Perform the below steps with user with cluster admin access.

Steps

1. Open Prometheus web console (you can find its route in middleware-monitoring namespace)
2. Go to Alerts section

   Check that there are MobileSecurityService* and MobileSecurityServiceOperator* checks and they are all green

3. Open Grafana web console (you can find its route in middleware-monitoring namespace)

   Verify that there are dashboards with relevant data for MSS and MSS operator

4. Review SOP - Prometheus Alert Procedures
5. Review Validate section of MSS SOP
6. Check that the version of operator deployed matches the one specified in manifest file in intly installer repository

General Guidelines

Versions

Make sure to test against supported versions. You can find a list of supported versions in AeroGear documentation.

Bugs

Create a JIRA for any bug you find. The JIRA does not need to be in epic, but these fields should be filled in:

• Description
• Steps to reproduce
• Environment (e.g. Minishift)
• Component (e.g. MDC/Metrics/...)
• Affects version (e.g. 1.0.0-alpha)
• Affects build (e.g. CR1)
• Priority

If you are unsure about some metadata, refer to the metadata of the JIRA Epic of the verification task you are working on.
If your verification ticket is blocked by the issue you've found, please leave the verification ticket opened, and link the issue ticket as a blocker (More -> Link -> "is blocked by" -> fill in jira ticket ID).
