The method of using of SQL Explorer in Teiid Designer to preview data through a VDB is becoming obsolete. The Data Tools Platform and the JBoss Tools Application Server framework provides hooks to deploy a VDB and treat it as you would any other database.

This task is the first step toward utilizing DTP.

Primary task is to remove Designer's dependency on "net.sourceforge.sqlexplorer" plugin.

In addition, re-design of "VDB Execution", or VDB Editor may be required to clean up the user experience.
