I had set the timeout value to 1 second and could not get a query to execute. 10 desoncds also failed, but I noticed the failure was reported much sooner than after 10 seconds. I changed the value to 1000 and it executed fine.

We need to coordinate the units used for this field so it's consistent across the board. Possibly the Designer could allow the user to enter the vlue in seconds and pass milliseconds to the server. Regardless, it ought to be consistent.
