The first phase of the MTA Pathfinder project comprises of 3 microservices (architecture diagram):

• Controls
• Application Inventory
• Pathfinder

The Application Inventory is used to manage a portfolio of applications. Data from the controls add metadata to describe the applications in terms of the business services they provide, their technical make-up and their stakeholders.

The Application Inventory allows users to mange dependencies between applications and is the vehicle for invoking an application assessment, review and reporting via the Pathfinder microservice.
