Kafka bridge has caused various issues in while using it in IQE testing in the past. Investigate using a Java client in our new component test framework.

Acceptance Criteria

• Verification that our tests are able to connect direct to the kafka instance when running tests in the ephemeral environment.
• POC implemented to prove that we can send and receive messages to/from Kafka in both the local and ephemeral environments when running our tests.
• Verify that this proves to provide more stability during test runs.
