Description of Problem
When determining the core count being used by a cluster and which nodes are contributing to the cluster, there is no information to assist in identifying how a total core count is being calculated for a cluster on https://console.redhat.com/subscriptions/usage/openshift
How reproducible
Always
Steps to Reproduce
- Register a cluster of multiple nodes to see a total cluster core count.
- From the information presented on the screen, try to determine the core count for each node in the cluster.
Actual Behavior
Cluster core/socket count is being displayed as a total for the entire cluster. No information for each node is included.
Expected Behavior
Much like the hypervisor visual representation on the RHEL subscriptions graph (https://console.redhat.com/subscriptions/usage/rhel) where a hypervisor can expand upon clicking and show the VMs associated with it. A cluster should be represented similarly by a drop-down arrow to see the nodes contributing to the cluster core/socket count. Each node in the cluster should include a core/socket count for each to determine which nodes are contributing towards the total core/socket count.
Business Impact / Additional info
Low impact. When a user sees a total number of cores/sockets in use, and believes this is incorrect they must open a case with support to determine the accuracy of their core/socket reporting. Since support is unable to determine this information, they in turn have to open a ticket with engineering to determine what information is correct.
