Serverless Docs Sprint 1, Serverless Docs Sprint 2, Serverless Docs Sprint 3, Serverless Docs Sprint 4
We collected all findings of the Serving performance tests (epic: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/SRVKS-1075) and added them to a new, more detailed page for Scaling OpenShift Serverless Serving.
Proposed docs changes
- Add a new page in Serving area the docs with the content of: https://github.com/openshift-knative/docs/pull/98, deployed here: https://openshift-knative.github.io/docs/docs/latest/serverless/serving/scaleability-and-performance-of-serving.html
- Reword the existing page. Especially, drop
"OpenShift Serverless has been tested with a configuration of 3 main nodes and 3 worker nodes, each of which has 64 CPUs, 457 GB of memory, and 394 GB of storage each."
as one could see this as a minimal-requirement.
- Add relevant links to https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_openshift_serverless/1.29/html/installing_serverless/preparing-serverless-install as the new page contains a lot more details about scaling, but also expects the customer to know the components (that are Serving specific).
