In the mean time customers ask for Istio multiple control planes support: https://docs.google.com/document/d/18T1Ed3bsAuANnvz2j0aGVwGwP01if1kHbGCoURXTJ9E/edit

We could either do some investigation and document if things work as expected with multiple control planes (ServiceMeshControlPlane) and/or decide that istio multi-tenancy is WIP under the bigger umbrella issue of multi-tenancy.
